Ben Levine

Ben Levine is an accomplished bassist who has worked as a bandleader, sideman, producer, and educator. After getting a Master's Degree in Jazz Studies from USC, Ben spent 6 years touring the US with the Drew Davis Band.

Trey Sabatelli

Trey began drumming professionally in the early 80’s in NYC. After moving to the San Francisco area in 1984 Trey's style and musicianship propeled him into the inner circle of great Bay Area musicians. Trey plays in numerous bands including the Gone Jackals, the Jefferson Starship, the Tubes, Tainted Love, the White Album Ensemble and with Todd Rundgren.

"The first time I saw Stomplight I had to have a Trio. This is one very smart idea - the lighting is top notch and the form factor allows it to be easily used in any live performance or studio situation. Don Alder

Don Alder is an international touring singer-songwriter know for his amazing guitar playing and story telling. Don has been featured in numerous guitar magazines with millions of You Tube views. Don has performed duets with Grammy award winners Angelique Kidjo and John Parr and was selected by Lee Ritenour to be on the advisory judge panel for the highly touted International Six String Theory Contest.

James Nash

James Nash is an Americana guitar hero and no stranger to musical diversity. His residency at Merlefest is legendary and his skillful guitar playing admired and adored globally. As at home with Charlie Parker and Bill Monroe as he is with Django Reinhardt and Jimi Hendrix, the accomplished guitarist embraces the potential challenges of playing multiple genres with both joy and aplomb.

"The StompLight has the advantage of being very compact and tough, yet is easy to use...The lights themselves produce a nicely diffuse illumination capable of providing a colour wash over a wide area, unlike some multi-colour LED lights that act more like spotlights. As well as producing a more even lighting effect, the lights are less likely to dazzle than those that produce a narrow beam.

The footswitches allow quick changing between modes or colours during performance and that hinged lid is stiff enough to stay in place once you’ve set the optimum lighting angle. In fact the only thing I don’t like is the reliance on an external power adaptor. In comparison with LED ‘cans’, the StompLight can seem a little pricey, but if you need a simple and compact way to make your gigs look better, it is a great solution."

Barry Rudolph

Barry Rudolph is a recording engineer, mixing engineer, record producer and technical writer best known for his work with Rod Stewart, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hall & Oates. He has been a contributing editor for Music Connection Magazine since 1987 and Mix Magazine since 1997. Rudolph is credited on more than 30 RIAA-certified gold and platinum records.

"In my studio, I used the DMX Pro to light the left side of the control room and monitor speaker and the Pal for the right side and its monitor speaker. My studio is small--only 112-inches wide so I had great coverage even with the brightness control halfway. I like the reaction I get from clients and students when I surprise them at some point during their session. Great fun and it always breaks up the seriousness of the proceedings sometimes.

I think this is a great product and useful in all sorts of ways for parties, music venues, nightclub/bar lighting and much more."
